About Rebecca

Rebecca Love

Rebecca at 'Thomas Rotherham College'Rebecca was born in Mexborough, South Yorkshire, in 1980 and was the only daughter of Carol and David, and sister to Adrian. After her education in Wath, South Yorkshire, Rebecca went to Thomas Rotherham College for 3 years and gained qualifications in Health & Social Care. She was presented with a prize by the Mayor of Rotherham for outstanding results!

Rebecca also worked for the NHS, including Barnsley Hospital, for a number of years before then being accepted to the University of Scarborough to do a degree in Marine and Coastal Biology, studying a year at Hull University.

Rebecca Aged 8Rebecca did karate for many years and got to black belt standard. She was an excellent swimmer and when at home, would go to our local swimming baths almost every day and would think nothing of swimming 120 lengths at a time. Some years ago, she swam five miles for charity. Rebecca also excelled at cross country running.

She was very artistic and had much of her art work exhibited in exhibitions. At the age of 8 she drew a picture of a World War I plane in black ink and this was exhibited in an exhibition in London.

Rebecca was, and still is, the most beautiful, kind and loving, gentle and caring soul. She had a wonderful smile, and infectious laugh and a wicked sense of humour. She had time for everybody and always had a friendly listening ear that was never judgemental.
